Play'n Go releases Gold Volcano

Play’n Go releases Gold Volcano

Gold Volcano, an innovative title has been recently released by one of the leading igaming developers, Play’n Go.  Just two weeks after launching its skateboard themed game: Nyjah Huston: Skate for Gold, the company has recently returned once more to announce the premiere of its eight-reel game innovation.  The Sweden-based company announced the game through a press release on July 16, 2020, making the game available to players as of now on any of our top slot sites.

Its game design and features are based on a mountainous volcano, providing igaming fans with a new way to play online slots. The game is a grid pattern casino slot, being the latest release coming from the company. This makes it a unique grid slot unlike most common slots today.  The game adds another inventive twist on the slot grid game as it offers a volcano-shaped cascading grid slot formula. The company has experienced great success with this and continues to offer it in this game.

The game clearly places an emphasis on the nature theme of the gameplay as the game takes inspiration from a volcano as the symbols cascade upwards bubbling up the lava within the volcano. As players are faced with the power of the volcano, rather than fearing its eruption, players will soon look forward to its eruptions as it is a good thing, hoping that it will blow at some point in the game.

The game also mirrors the unpredictability of a volcano, boosting player excitement and engagement as random base game features add more chances of winning.  Being volatile by nature, either doing nothing or blowing up smoke in the air and causing so much panic, volcano’s are usually feared. Instead of mimicking this dangerous volatility, Golden Volcano might not be the most volatile slot game as it is rated a 7 out of 10 on Play’n GO’s volatility meter.

Its default RTP is 96.2%, a respectable payout percentage, though still configurable and may be offered at a lower setting.   The game is playable starting from 10 pence up to £100 per spin, requiring players to land 4 or more matching cluster symbols vertically or horizontally.  The game style also entails that winning symbols are removed from the play grid in order to make way for new ones to fall into the open spaces, continuing until no new wining clusters appear.

Martin Zettergren, chief product officer at Play’n Go, spoke about the game saying that, as with its recently released game title,  Nyjah Huston – Skate for Gold and Rally 4 Riches, the company aims to not only feature some lesser-known themes but to also bring a new design dimension to the game, providing its player base with new exciting experiences.  He further added that creating games that tell a story isn’t just about the game theme design and description but also through its features and gameplay, resulting in the new titles like Gold Volcano.

The game is set to be another great addition to the company’s massive portfolio as it continues with its commitment to releasing 52 games this year.
